Ray R is a 3rd generation San Franciscan, on both sides of the family.

He was raised in the north bay. Ray worked as a ballroom dance instructor, and at an auto body shop to work his way through college. He didn’t own a bike unitl he was 21, and now has many. Ray didn’t take riding serious until he was put on heart medication. He started riding with people who are stronger and was eventually taken off meds. Being a business owner doesn’t allow time for much riding, so when he gets out on the weekend, he tries to get the most out of it. A natural sprinter, with little miles in the legs, Ray has to race super smart to be able to contest a sprint. Ray just upgraded to a cat 3, and would like to see how far he I can go with a little luck. If winning city limit signs counted, He’d be a cat 2 already.

Rich S is proud of his accomplishments last year.

Rich raced in a few of the TNTs this past season and feels that he did improve his game a bit as a result. He also participated in a couple events at the Foothill College Circuit Race and did ok in one race, and crashed out second race (he got some nice road tattoos to show for it).  He rode the King Ridge Road Gran Fondo and improved his time over last year by about 30 minutes (next year he would like to break the 6.5 hour mark).

Rich also just upgraded to Cat 4 and he is glad to finally be out of the “bloody Cat 5s”. He'd like to place in the top 10 in a criterium. Rich's #1 goal: "To kick your ass!"

Hmm, I like the fact that everybody riding with the 2 Wheel team is a true fan of the sport and all seem to really enjoy riding. I also like that while most of us have a competitive streak, it is not to a point that it causes serious conflict among mates (we are a team after all). I also like the fact that the team is friendly outside of riding, and includes family often for club functions. Finally, the annual circuit race, based upon work from the past and present, is something that we can all be proud of.

I really enjoy being on 2 Wheel because they treat everyone fairly. After coming from teams that had a me-first attitude, 2 Wheel is a welcome change. No matter what your station or level of riding, you are treated with respect and are welcome to the same deals from sponsors, whether you're a Cat 5 or a Pro.

Bruce Coats

I enjoy spending time with folks on our team. Everyone is friendly and we get together frequently for non-cycling events, and our families are included.

Hugo Aguirre

Patty and I really enjoy the camaraderie of the team. We like the fact that we have social functions so we get to know our team-mates on a personal level.

Zack Fuetsch

I like the friendly environment. I am always learning.
